Setting up dedicated GPL host

Hi all,

I'd like to set up the server at home as a dedicated GPL host for online
racing.  I understand GPL1.1 has host-only provisions.  If this is so, does
it work with clients using version 1.0?  I'd like to benefit from those
hosting features, if they're there, but I'd like to stick to 1.0 for the
clients, at least until they fix 1.1.

I plan to host using a DSL connection on the server, and join in with my
computer as a local client.  Both will share the DSL connection, so I can
also join through the net.  My connection will be 384 down, 128 up.  As
always, any help will be appreciated.

Sorry, it's not possible. It's either all systems 1.0 or all systems 1.1.
With 128 up you should be able to host 9 maybe 10 clients over that
connection using 3/84 3/84 core.ini settings. This goes for either version.
