I can't seem to find the original message that instructed what exactly to
change, but after performing that tweak (lowering the brake ratio in
default.vhs from 9220.something to 6000.something), the brakes no longer
lockup and I can run much faster lap times now (i.e. the game is much more
enjoyable.)  Thanks for telling us about that.
