You must make sure in control panel, system icon, check Creative
Miscellanous Devices, after check properties of Creative SB16 Emulation.
This is the driver use for of Dos application in Windows. In my case
GP2 auto detect, find my SB Live Value as a SB16, and detect
interrupt/dma and input address, i do the sound test, and it's working,
but when i actually start GP2, the game doesn't start at all. I have
change the SB 16 emulation manually, with another configuration and
everythings work now properly.

Good Luck

GP2 SB Live problem.

I set up several SB-Lives' recently.  Two in my own system.  The DOS
Emulation is the biggest pain in the ass I've seen in quite a while.  the
best thing I can tell you is to get the "Allow LPT Interrupt Sharing"
checked so it goes to IRQ 7 or 5.

When you open device manager there's a section called Creative Misc Devices.
(How the hell can they be Miscellaneous!)
Under that look for Creative SB-16 Emulation.  Double click it.  There
should be 4 tabs.  General, settings, driver, resources.  If you don't have
a 4th tab (settings) you have a Bios problem with the interrupt allocation.
Try either the PCI configuration in your system bios or go to C:\Program
Files\Creative\SBLive\DosDrv IN DOS and reconfigure the interrupt being
used.  Use either sbeset.exe or sbecfg.exe.  I'm not sure which.  Then edit
the Autoexec.bat and change the SET command to reflect the Interrupt being
used.  Once you get the settings tab, be sure that there are no red X's in
device manager and note the interrupt that has been chosen.  It in not
necessarily the same as what you just got done configuring in the SBExxx.exe
program.  (That makes sense).  Now, Reedit the Autoexec.bat, Reboot, and you
should be able to run any old dos game you like.
