I've just got a SB Live, works great except with GP2.  I remember
reading posts before about how to get this working.  The GP2 setup prog
won't autodetect, so I've tried manually specifying the IRQ etc listed
under SB16 emulation in system properties.  This doesn't work either.  I
did this for all of the sounblaster cards available in the setup
program, ie Sounblaster, SB16/AWE32 and SB Pro..  What next?

I recently bought a SB/Ensoniq AudioPCI (probably a similar beast) and
was about ready to post a similar plea for help. It doesn't want to know
anything about either GP2 or ICR2. The soundcard detection routines in
both simply go "sound card? what sound card?".

I even thought I would try stuffing my SB16 back in, booting with DOS
and the SB16 DOS drivers when I wanted to run the racing sims, but I
seem to have the joystick ports conflicting, and I'm scratching my head
how to sort that out.
