Still having trouble with the sound.

When letting off the throttle, the engine revs delaying so much that the car
is pushed when I'm on the brakes. Forces me to let off the throttle much
earlier than necessary.

I have a Creative 128PCI

Does anyone have a solution?

Don't know.  Tried increasing the pedal sensitivity setting?

moved the setting all to max and it improved slightly

but still it's like driving with the throttle to much open.

could it be the combination of direct x and PCI128??

anyone experiencing similar...

It also results in the fact that you cannot do a standing 180 to face the
correct direction after a bummer. The wheels keep spinning after the brakes
are applied - VERY annoying
Somebody mentioned the engine_inertia setting - but that had no effect to my
testing

Would love to see this fixed

yes, I also have problem, after a drivers error, when I'm facing the wall,
the rear wheels spinning like he** when the brakes have been applied for a
second or so

this setting makes the car more playable at "Monaco" which is very short
bursts with the throttle. The file is
D:\F12000\Season00\Vehicles\McLaren\g02gpxa.veh and the driver is Mika
Hakkinen
