One of the coolest features that I liked about F1RS was the
3D sound. You could actually hear the other car(s) next to your
right/left front/rear ect... The only problem was the ubisoft
implementation was very iffy and problematic for most sound
cards. It just happened to work with my SBPCI64 (Ensoniq
AudioPCI with the 1370 chipset).
Well I realized today that F1 2000 has 3D sound too. You do
*NOT* need a A3D card with the 3D enabled to hear it. This
implementation IMHO is far better than the Ubisoft F1RS 3D
sound because I would think it will work with far more sound-
cards. In fact most of you may not have realized that it is
happening...
Check it out, it is totally cool. You even hear wrecks in 3D :-)
