If you mean the distortion and sound break-up you get from certain
cars, try this web page for information and some new sound files:
http://www.geocities.com/MotorCity/Pit/6051/
You don't have to d/l the entire sound.dat file, just d/l the
smaller waves files and place them in your C:\SIERRA\gpl\sound\
directory.
While you are at it, you might also want to check around for new and
improved sounds, especially for the Coventry and the trainer cars.
I have them, but I can't remember where I d/l them.
These files fixed-up my GPL sound problems.
