TIR and MS FF?

Has anyone got Total Immersion Racing to work with a Microsoft FF wheel?
When I turn on FF the game turns into a Powerpoint presentation just after
the countdown.
I'm sure I've read somewhere that the FF effects were good (although I've a
feeling that was on a MOMO wheel).

Cany anyone shed any light?
