I got the Nascar2 demo in 58 minutes today at 6 pm eastern Installed it and
ran setup fine. THEN loaded demo and screen was all crazy colored tried to
race but locks up. tried univbe to no avail......dunno
anyone else have problems? Cyrix166+ and STB lightspeed 128 sb16 16 mgs ram

I have the same problem when I try to race it locks. Setup was fine,
sound was working. By the way what directorys are your *.3do, *.mip and
drivers.pcx files in I have a pentuim 133 16megs of ram.

Looks like you have two problems. The demo wont run on a Cyrix processor, and it doesn't like the
STB card for some reason. Adam said he was looking at the STB deal, and Cyrix/Papyrus are looking
at the Cyrix deal.

Please tell me that the problems with the stb card will be fixed if I can't have the n2 when it comes out
because it won't work I will be bummed. Please if any body can help me I will appreciate it greatly!!!!!!!!!!
I loaded the demo, the setup screen looks awesome(Ilike Dale in the front!!),I get the sound check no problem,
but when I go to run the demo the display is aweful and I also ran uuvconfig or whatever it detected
everything fine I assume as it displayed a bunch of information real quick I thought i was home free,but no
dice.

Please Adam tell us you can iron this out, I could care less about the demo I want the
full deal when it comes out!!!!

Ihave the stb lightspeed 128 w/2.25 vram a p133 on crappy packardbell mboard.

Makes me glad I spent the extra $$ and bought an Intel 166 instead of going
with the Cyrix.

I am much happier with my Cyrix than my older Intel products. Software developers just need to
realize that there are other processor out there now, so doing Intel only stuff can not be done
anymore.
