Getting ICR2 Demo in the UK

I Don't know if anybody has put this demo on a server in the UK yet
but heres a tip for those who are having trouble downloading it fron
the US.

WAIT TILL 2 IN THE MORNING!

If I ever need to download a file from a busy US server I always do it
at this time.

With the timezone, etc. I guess that most people in the US and Europe
are in bed so the server usage goes down.

I downloaded the demo this morning and I got a constant 3.6 K/sec
from the stp.std.com server without dropouts.

Mind you, it still took an hour and a half.....

I did this as well.....but can't get it to work.

 H E L P   A N Y O N E ! ! !

I've sorted the memory requirements out, to get past the first hurdle,
and the soundcard setting to get some noise.

I've got the UNIVBE driver created, though this briefly mentions
something about Tseng 4000 or something.....when I've got an Orchid
Fahrenheit Pro card which has the S3 964 chipset.

So I get as far as the Papyrus intro-logo (VGA or SVGA).

Then it bombs out! No error messages etc flash up, no beeps or squawks.
The display is SVGA, so don't think this is the problem.....it it?

What's up? Don't know where to take it from here.

Ideas please?  Rick Genter.....are you reading?

Cheers!

Saturday morning, 9am, 1hour! One connection drop-out too!
BTW, THANKS for the GAMEOPTS.CFG hacks. I'll be trying that in a
second. I want this game NOW, but I'll have to wait a bit. These hacks
ease the wait a little!!!

Cheers,

Stuart.
