GPL: Online Racing Really Possible?

by Thomas Heinema » Tue, 01 Sep 1998 04:00:00

This is a question to all of you lucky
people  who are "beta" testing...

I have read a great deal about GPL,
but almost nothing about how well
GPL performs online...

I know that you all have been trying to
get the gods at Papy to speed up the
Internet play, but how good is it right now?

I know it depends on several factors,
but  lets say two people with 56k modems,
and a good conection to the net with
"happy" ping times....would it be enough
to sustain a good fluid race....?
If not, what would be?

Im extreamly curious...and hopeful...;)

If we are able to "race" without severe
"jerkyness", expect to see me alot online guys!
