Thanks for the tips... I will have to look a little more closely at the car
selection screen next time, as I most definitely have a very sweet,
burnt-orange 356 Carrera which I have lovingly tweaked (in the car setup
sense and in the "oops, hit a tree again" sense) and I want to pull that one
out of my "quiver" for special races. The Atomic Pumpkin, I like to call
it. And using the cheat would defeat half the reason of buying the game.
Although last night I was more than a little irritated when I built up a
killer 964 Turbo, only to find that the next tournament was for the 993...
DOH! Read the fine print. Garage sale time for the intercooler, throttle
body etc., as I never liked the 964s anyway :-)
Will have to go look at the record site. Meanwhile, anyone interested in
the Jimmy Dean invitational online tournament (550 Spyders only)? Is there
a nicer car in NFS? I don't think so.
