Can the Indianapolis track from ICR be used in II (obviously only in VGA
mode)?
I can't justify a new computer (those trivialities like food and shelter
keep getting in the way), so I will run it in VGA. Will it use about the
same amount of CPU power, or will my DX2/50 poop out even in VGA mode?

You will have to start from scratch.

No. The track format changed, and there is a lot of new, different data in
the .DAT file.

While IndyCar Racing II will use more CPU power than IndyCar Racing, you
should be able to run OK on a 486DX2/50 in VGA.

Will it need as much power to run NASCAR or more/less? Also, will there
be any efforts made to get Indy for Indycar? (For that matter, will you
attempt to get the new IRL tracks?)
