N2 --> ICR2 Conversions?

by Bill Met » Tue, 09 Dec 1997 04:00:00

  Are there any converters out there for converting Nascar2 tracks to
ICR2?  I realize that the improvement would pretty much be eye candy over
the N1 conversions, however with the additions of Bull Run, Red Rock, and
the other expansion-pack tracks, I would think the demand for N2 --> ICR2
would be pretty high.
  They team at The Pits seems to have done ICR2 --> N2 pretty well
with their PTCC.  Is there a technical problem with going the other way
(file formats, etc...)?  Or has there just been no demand?

N2 --> ICR2 Conversions?

They are too many difference between N2 and other Papyrus titles (N1 and
Icr2). The reason why we can race with Icr2 and N1 tracks converted is
because the game engine and the graphic engine is very similary.  I doubt
that someone will ever make the converter.  It's like converting Gp2 tracks
to Icr2 ;-)

With great respect,
May the downforce be with you,
