Guillemot Ferrari force feedback wheel broken

I have enjoyed this wheel for some years. Now, however, the wheel has
the habit of getting loose and finally becoming detatched from the
base. I have been able to***it back, but it is working loose
again.
Any ideas on how to stop this, please?
