Does anyone have the Logitech wheel working in NASCAR2 ?
I have tried a few things and could not get it to work so I gave up and
started playing some newer games that do work with my set up.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Regards

Dave

He is talking about the DOS executable. Are you claiming that you are
able to use the Logitech FF wheel with the DOS version of NR1999?

That wheel (along with the MS wheel and other digital wheels) will not
calibrate in N2, and thus, will not work. It will work in NR1999 using the
windows version, but that's it.

Strange that you say that. I have the Logitech FF wheel and can use it with
N2.  It does take a little to get it calibrated but it does work on my system
anyway.

If that is true then copy that calibration file and sell it to every every
owner of the Logitech FF wheel in the world. Because you are the only one
that I know of.

Well to make sure I was not dreaming I started up my N2, using the convenient
N2 profile that Logitech provided with the wingman profiler (wonder why they
put that there if the wheel can't work with game?).  I went into calibration
to check my settings.  No assists on and wheel picked as choice of
controller.  Carefully I calibrated the wheel again and I mean carefully.  I'm
sure you noticed that it will jump all around if you move to quickly.  Works
best if you go left slowly first.  Brakes and accelerator are really not a
problem but it will not work on separate axis so make sure you set on single
in control panel.  Once I was satisfied that calibration was steady I went to
the Glen and ran a few laps to test.  Seemed OK to me.  A quick pinch to make
sure I was awake and over to RAS to reply to this.  I don't know why it works
for me but fact is it does.  Where is this calibration file so I can send it
to you?

I assure you that you are the exception to the rule.  99 out of 100
people cannot use digital wheel's with N2.

Or NROS, which is my problem...

Oh, burn that calibration file to a CD.  If you ever have to
recalibrate, you will probably find yourself in the same boat with
everyone else.
