ICR2 with N2 Tracks - Flashing

by John Bel » Tue, 31 Mar 1998 04:00:00

When my pals and I hook up to modem race a converted N2 track,  the
connecting guy finds most cars flash and the connectee usually has just the
connecting guy's car flashing.  Mainly happens in the corners.

It makes it pretty tough to pass and really sucks.

Does anyone have a fix for this??

Thanks

I have recently added a Diamond Stealth II to run ICR2 in 3d and saw quite a
bit of flashing during the opening movie and in replays...I fixed it by
changing the dos screen refresh.  I used a slightly altered version of sierra's
Sutil that is available at Bjorn's 3d website.(www.bjorn3d)  SSustil is the new
name.  I messed around not really knowing what I was doing til the replays etc
looked normal.  For me that was a setting of /R2 which I "think" was 60mhz for
my older monitor.  I know this doesn't address your modem problems but maybe it
is in the same area.
