MBTR for real !!!

Hello guys !!

Just a quick note to tell you that the REAL truck racing season will start
in Dijon (France for our overseas friends) in 2 weeks.

Think about it, GPL races are gone, we all know you can't go to an F1 race
and TOUCH the cars (or even get a close look), I assume NASCAR AND CART are
the same.

If you come to see truck races you can see it all, touch the trucks, and if
you come to truck number 4 and use the magic word "I am from r.a.s" you'll
even get a detailled explanation on telemtry and chassis settings....with a
couple of beers of course (it has to be so since we are in a german team).

See you on the racetracks !!

NASCAR teams provide race cars not being used in a particular race for the
express purpose of allowing the public to see, and even touch,  them.

In fact they often send these cars on tour to grocery stores and shopping
malls to entice people to become fans of the sport, ( and promote the
sponsors product, of course).

Well actually Louisiana WAS a part of France until we sold it to the spanish
I believe (correct me if I'm wrong), it is named after Louis XIV, the
"sun-king".

You are wrong.  How's that?  :)

It was, in fact, sold to America. Well, actually the CLAIM to it was sold to
America.

The bits of North America that used to be Spanish territory that are now
part of the US we stole fair and square.

I remembered we sold it but not to whom....

Anyway we sold it for a too cheap price....once again

Read my post once again. France didn't sell Louisiana, it sold the *claim*
to it. i.e. France drew a circle on a map and said " That's ours."

Excepting the area around New Orleans, ( where I hear there are lots of
maids), France never actually sent anyone there to so much as plant a flag.
Considering the US would have gotten it for free in ten years anyway *I*
think you got a pretty good price for it.   :)
