That might be a limiting factor... your PC needs to be able to run it
smoothly for it to be enjoyable and it does require quite some horsepower if
you want to have eyecandy.
From what I hear it's an enjoyable arcade racer if you can get it to run on
your system and respond to your controller properly.

I think it's fantastic on the XBox with the 'sim' cheats enabled. Not
so hot on the PC or PS2.
Bottom line for me is that it has by far the best selection of cars and
tracks, for my tastes, of any game out there and it is well suited to
consoles. The tracks are good enough that SBDT is converting some of them
for GTR. It's a damn fun game on the Xbox and between the concept, the
range of cars and tracks (which you can see at the first link above, btw),
and the career mode it is a game that I really, really wish would work
properly on the PC. But unfortunately they messed up the steering control
for the PC version and until they or some modder fixes it I am not going to
get the PC version (although there is hope, for example see
http://forum.m4driving.sm/index.php?act=ST&f=316&t=37330& ).

But it is totally Arcade and it is no fun at all. You probably only will
play it for 1 hour to see the cars and the tracks etc but the handling is so
bad, it runs
the game totally. Do not buy it is my advice

Strangely after about 10 hours of seat time with the PC version, I
couldn't see where the XBox version was superior after playing it
at a store. Graphic engine looked identical (apart from it being
at a lower res) and couldn't see how the physics or controls were any
better than the PC version.
I've noticed several people suggesting that the XBox version was
superior but I couldn't see much difference.
Cheers,
Rod.
Actually the 'physics' feel more like rally driving than touring car
driving, sadly.

Note that there is an Advanced Physics Patch specifically for the demo
version, so you can give it a try even if you don't have the full
version (which is WELL worth the purchase price, IMO).

Enjoy!

Tried it but I'm stuffed if I can get it to work with my Thrustmaster.
