Guillemot/TM Ferrari FF wheel drivers...

Anyone know if the TM drivers for the 'GT Force Feedback wheel' will work
with the UK version of the same wheel, the Guillemot Ferrari GT FF wheel.
The Guillemot UK sight has acient drivers which have never been updated, but
the TM drivers on the US sight are new and support my OS (WinMe), so does
anyone know if they will work with my UK wheel?
Cheers,
Simon.

I don't know why you guys don't just try them like anyone else!  It's a lot
easier.
Anyway, I use the new Thrustmaster FF wheel 3.08 drivers for all OS inc XP
on my Guillemot Ferrari FF with no problem at all.

Where is the setting for split axis pedals in the 3.08 driver?  I tried
these vs. the latest Guillemot I was using--where it was obvious.

Marc.

In 'game controllers' (XP), select 'operate pedals separately'!

You have to run Thrustmapper. Can't miss it.

I tried the 3.08 drivers on WinME.  When connecting my Act-Labs shifter,
the TMFF entry disappeared.  Furthermore, when turning the wheel on/off
it moved the id number from 1 to 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.  Not to mention that my
old drivers aren't working properly now -- time for a re-install :(

I don't use Thrustmapper Dave - I uninstalled it.  The pedals thing is
selectable in the XP Game controller section without Thrustmapper.

What if you don't have XP?

Get it!
Seriously though, it's in the same place in 98 and ME as far as I remember.

Why? 98's not broke ;)  And there are too many threads on the thrustmaster
forum about XP and drivers for my liking.

remember.

I looked all around the control panel items for it and couldn't find it,
ever time I'd make a change to the wheel (say turning it off and on) it
would tell P&P there was a new device and then I'd have 2 or three FF wheels
on my controller panel.

I never thought to look at the mapper utility to control the characteristics
of a device when I didn't want to change the mapping (call me silly but it
doesn't sound intuitive to put it there) so I deleted the whole thing and
went back to 2.1.11.  However I've heard other people say that mapper just
has to be installed and not running to effect the pedal axis (again seems
counter-intuitive).

I'll stick with 2.1.11 unless RT needs the 3.08 ones.
