GP2-Joystick?

Could anybody please help. I need advice on a decent joystick for GP2. I
have tried a couple of cheaper joysticks and after a few weeks I have
trouble calibrating them, thus making it extremely difficult to control the
car properly.Any advice gratefully recieved. Also could you give me some
indication of the cost. Also I think it would have to be pretty sturdy as
I'm not the most delicate of players. Thanking you in advance. Dave.

I use a gravis joystick that has adjustable "tension" settings.  I set it
to the most "floppy" position (i.e. no spring return in any position)
because during a long race the spring return can cause hand fatigue.  It
took me 2 full seasons with all help turned off to learn to drive with it,
but now I can post some pretty decent times.  I believe you can obtain this
for around $40 U.S., but mine came packaged with Microsoft Flight Simulator
for free...

I use a Microsoft Sidewinder Pro and have found it to be both
comfortable and durable. Cost is approx . $60 U.S.

Hi,

I am very pleased to use the Quickshot SUPER WARRIOR
which you always can calibrate perfectly.
I had big problems with Gravis Analogue Pro which could not
be calibrated properly.= it doesn't use the whole range of the
joystick, so I had many many times tire-lock due to too heavy
braking because the  range of movement of the joystick was much too
small between neutral, slightly braking and heavy braking.
You simply could not feel the difference.

The Quickshot cost only USD 22 !
