Hello all..........been a long while since posting. I just bought
CMRally. I tried the minumum install like 8 times...with the same
result. I don't get 20megs of install..only 4.94 megs. And, when I try
to run the game...I get the codemasters bouncing letters, then the
cool intro video, but then it goes back to my desktop and gives mne
this message "this application only runs on the original disc".
WTF?!?!   It's a brand new game...not a copy. Anyone have any ideas on
this?? I am DYING to play the game !!!!!!!!!!!

p.s. I get the same result with the 315 meg install as well.

Verne.

Ok, I have tried the patch, but seeing how I have not gotten a
complete install...it makes things worse. I have tried installing it
on a buddies machine with a 32X cd dive as well...it worked, so it
can't be the speed. I do have a Cyrix chip...maybe that??? Anyway, I
have tried installing it again, same thing. Short of trying another
drive...meaning $$$$$$, is there anything anyone can think of that may
be causing my install problems??
