Petty and Pearson - Daytona(or was it Talladega?) 1976 - Pearson won
Yarborough and Allison - Daytona - NEITHER won.
Two EXCITING finishes out of many...

Which is the same point Phil Parsons brought up tonight in his interview - the
drivers aren't happy about the 'double-standard'.

It is the same almost everywhere in American Sports. Do you think a Rookie
would get a charging call against Micheal Jordan even if he was firmly
established?
Sports honcho's learned a long time ago, most (uh oh, generalized statement
coming) We Americans don't show up to watch a football game or auto race, we show
to see our stars race....

...except touring cars do it much slower with nice run off areas (usually).
You probably do see more paint swapping in the BTCC, but it never makes me
wince like it does with the NASCAR guys...

The Mocker
windows 2000 for me, or linux
either one is great
windows 95/98 are both pieces of shit, i rather use their cd's as $80
frisbees than use them as an operating system
You got a beta of Win2000? Based on what I've read on it, it seems that
this one will be even more of a resource-hog than Win98 was. I never
upgraded (?) to that. I've kept the OSR2.1 Win95 around just for my
***. Here's hoping for a GPL Linux port! Hell, while we're hoping,
N3 and Cart2 for Linux!! The only crashin' I want done is due to my own
driving, not my OS!!!
Cheers

The box said "Windows 95 or better", so I installed LINUX!
