Has anyone used both?

Which is better?

Comments?

I have an Act Labs now but considering a MOMO.

MOMO VS Act Labs Force RS

My first wheel was an Act-Labs Force RS.  I got it due to
recommendations.  I thought the force effects and movement were OK.  The
pedals sucked bad.  But the thing was ugly, very very ugly.  And I didn't
like the fat wheel.

Then along came the Momo Force (Original version, leather wrapped wheel).
I had to have one.  This is the wheel I use now and absolutely love it.
Metal paddle-shifters too, as opposed to the plastic ones on the Force
RS.  I even thought the pedals were a step up from the garbage on the
Force RS.  But I didn't know how bad the pedals really were until I
replaced them with BRD Speed7's just recently.  So my current setup is a
Momo Force w/BRD Speed7 pedals.

If you want to go a similar route, get this nifty  adapter:
http://www.tytlandsvik.no/momo/

Momo Racing is the new version of the Momo.  Cheaper in cost and build
quality, but it has gotten nothing but positive reviews from those who
have it as far as I know.

Thanks for the info PedXing bought one today. Is 120.00 shipped a good
price? Just curious.

Momo Racing is not really a new version of the Momo Force.  It does not
replace the Momo Force and does not share any components.  Momo Force will
continue to be sold as the high-end wheel, Momo Racing is the mid-level
entry which is designed to compete against the MS Sidewinder and the
Thrustmaster NASCAR and F1 FF wheels.

i have tried both but personally prefer the act labs force rs. although the
actual wheel isn't great and the pedals could be better, the force feedback
is unparalleled and the clamping mechanism is neat too. and if u get the
performance pedals u will find these to be the best pedals u can get. i have
had no problems at all with the act labs wheel and pedals.

Kevin....it is widely and very accurately ackowledged that the BRD Speed 7's
are the best you can get.

Maybe the best you have tried...?

Haven't used either but from all the reviews I have read I would have to
agree.  I'm not even sure if AL Performance Pedals are best mid range pedals
you can buy, seem to be a lot of mixed reviews.  You either love them or
hate them it seems.

What what I've heard, mounting of the MOMO is a real pain in the a**.

For someone like me who uses their PC for things other than racing, the
continuous mounting and unmounting of it would become a major hassle.

I too am in the market for a new wheel after my MS FF just croaked after 4
years.  Am thinking of the AL but the price (converted to $ CDN is a big
concern).

I use the original Momo on my desk I use everyday racing multiple times a
week and never had a single issue mounting it.  Works perfectly IMHO.  Not
sure what you have heard.  Having used the Momo for a year now I can only
say good things about it.

Sorry I guess I should have clarified - I was speaking about the Momo Racing
not Momo Force.

From what I've heard, you need to remove the cover to access 2 jacking
screws as well as the one on the bottom.  It was said that accessing and
manipulating these screws was difficult and time consuming.

Ah ok.  Never had a chance to try that one.
Driving Italia http://driving.multiplayer.it/articoli.php3?id=6623 has a
good review (in Italian) with loks of pictures of it, both in and out.

Looks like it uses same setup as the Formula Force GP which wasn't great.

I don't think you need to use all of them.  The middle clamp doesn't fit my
desk, so I removed it. The way it is designed the lower bracket that carries
the middle***can be easily removed and stowed away if you don't need it.
Then you just use the two outer screws. These screws are covered by a snap
off cover that is simple to remove and reattach, and can also be left off if
you don't like it.  OTOH if you find that the middle***fits your desk, I
believe you could probably remove the two outer screws and stow them away.
I don't think you need all three.

You guys may wanna check out the new ECCI pedals which will work with
either the MS ,logitech , or thrustmaster wheel. Rock solid
construction and priced at $199 plus $20 shipping. A great deal
considering the quality of the ECCI pedals, besides if you ever quit
racing you can use them to anchor your boat! Here's the link
