MS FF wheel and centering problem

by Olav K. Malm » Thu, 08 Jul 1999 04:00:00

Hello,

I have encountered a problem with my MS FF wheel.

In Midtown madness and Toca2, when I let go the steering wheel, the cars
doesn't run in a straight line forward, I have to steer a liiiiitle bit to
the right to make a straight line.

In Toca2 the graphical steeringwheel inside the***pit does even show a little
leftsteering. Maybe this will be fixed if I used a bit more than 0 % nullzone?

Is my wheel getting worn out or is it a software problem?

Thanks for all suggestion.

MS FF wheel and centering problem

I have the same problem, but only with TOCA2.  Every other sim and game runs
perfectly with my Saitek R4 FFB (MS FFB guts), except for TOCA2 (can't say
about Midtown as I don't own it).  The wheel is straight until I get into
4th gear--and from then onward it pulls to the left--even after I slow down.
It ruins the game.  I can't even find FFB settings in TOCA2 to attempt to
adjust something.

HELP!!

Marc.

I partly solved it by increasing the null-sone to 3-4 %.
