ICR2 / T2 problem

ICR2 / T2 problem

by John Cuthbertso » Wed, 21 May 1997 04:00:00

pardon us...we're late arrivals on the ICR2 scene. Can't seem to get the
T2 wheel working. We go to the setup controls page...calibrate joystick
1...make the moves (although it appears that the gas pedal moves the
axis to the left and the brake moves it to the right). When we go to the
page where we expect to see the word 'joystick' instead of 'mouse',
everything is reading 'mouse' and the wheel doesn't function. Our
'confuser' is a Dell486DX266 w/ SB16, 6x CD-ROM, 28megs RAM, 1.2gig
hard drive and the game is on 'minimal install' running in DOS.

While it's been a while since we set up ICR1, it does work with the
wheel. Can't figure out what we're doing wrong. Help, please. Reply

THE 'REPLY TO:' ADDRESS IS NOT FUNCTIONAL. TO USE IT, THE 'X' MUST BE
REMOVED.

THANKS.

Are you running the dos version or the Win95 version??  If Win 95
look for conflicts between your Sb16's joystick port and your acm
gamecard,  YOU ARE USEING AN ACM card aren't you??
:)
Check out the Thrustmaster web site, they have several pages of help
files to get your TM equipment up and running. don't worry about the
direction of the pedals on the slider, just calibrate the pedal and
then remember to choose the correct option for the accelerate and
brake options.
