I have problem with the icr2 joystick calibration using the T2 wheel.
Is difficult to calibrate and I have to try many times.. after it
seems ok and I start racing, but It takes only a few minutes and the
calibration is lost and very difficult to get again.
With other games I have no such problems !!!!!
Why only with ICR2 ????!!!

I use the gravis ultrasound joystick port and I never had any problem.

I've never had a problem with calibration, but in the five months I've had
my T2, I have had to open it up to replace the bungie cord on the steering
wheel 5 times already.  Last night I was going into turn 5 at Laguna and
the brake stuck to the floor.  I opened up the pedals and find that the
spring on the brake pedal broke.  So, if anyone knows what that spring is
and where I might find one (I've tried all the hardware stores in the
area) Please let me know.  For 130 bucks I'd expect the damn thing to be a
little more durable.  I really don't want to invest in a 500 dollar
steering wheel.

I think that parts are still available from Thrustmaster.

I wasn't up on the $500 either. Until I got to the point you are at. I
got sick and tired of having to constantly open the beast to replace
parts. I've had my ECC for 5 months now and never had a problem with it.
It has not degraded in the slightest and I use it dayly with ICR2 (Lots
of turning/braking/acclerating). It has proven to be a great investment
for me (fortunately I have a VERY understanding wife!  :)

At any rate, I always got my replacement springs from Thrustmaster. I
got in the habit of calling them to get replacement parts BEFORE it
broke. Then when it did, I'd call them again for more parts. That way I
always had a set of replacements on hand so I wouldn't have to wait
around for parts to arrive.

Good luck,

Chris

My acceleration spring broke so I just bent a clothes hanger around a
metal pipe a few times.  Works pretty good and is a quick fix.  Not real
sure if it's a permanent one though.

======
FWIW (not a whole lot, IMO), Thrustmaster will send out repair parts to
anyone who asks. Contact them by email, phone, etc., and they'll send
out the parts right away, no additional charge. Every time I've called
them, I had the parts within a week. Yup, they have a perfect record:
eight for eight over the past 3 years. How's that for customer focus?
(Any sarcasm you might think you detect is purely a figment of your
imagination.)

They are..just email them and they will send them. I broke my gas pedal
spring on Tuesday. I got the spring on Saturday.
