new LFS patch out,, dual axis support !!!

ok,, for my TSW2,, which has 3 pedals.. when I set it up for dual axis

Throttle: Y
Brake:  RZ

Invert Trottle: ON
Invert Brake: ON
Swap pedals: ON

using this setup, I get the far left pedal as the brake and the middle
pedal as the throttle.. the far right pedal which is what I normally
would use as a throttle is not recognized my the in game config
untility.. But alas its still quite wonder.. Brava LFS gents.. keep up
the good work..

My pedals work fine on my Ferrari ff wheel, but the ff on the wheel is now
screwed up. No resistance when I turn left. The wheel almost pulls left by
itself. There's uneven resistance when I turn right. :-(

Hmmm, well, I got dual-axis working (after a fair bit of messing about) but
now my LWFF is pulling to the left....the joys of beta testing... ; )

The Momo configured quite easily..did you press the button above all the
choices?  However NOW I can't get onto the multiplayer at all...the game
searches for servers and doesn't find any...
what was DGF's again??

Mine's not up now. When it's up, it just says Ras or Ras Dedicated.

Works fine with the Momo !
Pretty illogic though :
- Throttle on RZ
- Brake on Z
- Swap pedals : On

Drawback : instead of 40fps I now get half the frames I used to...

Same story here.  Nice split-axis pedals but force feedback seems to be
wrong in left turns, i.e. in a right turn the wheel goes back to center
as it should if released but in left turns it tries to go further left
(positive feedback -> unstable behaviour).

My wheel if a MSFF (USB) and I got the same behaviour with win98 and XP.
I also still have a copy of the 'old' version 0.04L and I can confirm
that FFB was OK for that one (but no split-axis).

Outstanding beta, tough.

For some reason this patch gives me the same errors i had with the version
of LFS i tried first. When loading the game or changing options the game
crashes and when i reboot i get mutiple truncated and erronious files that
need to be fixed by scandisk. These probs dont happen on the version before
the split axis.
any ideas chaps?

Still doesnt work for me. Brake works fine but no gas because when using
TSW2 with USB adapter gas is assigned as a slider.

My TSW has the clutch on "Y", throttle on "Z" and brake on "RZ". The only
way I can get it to work is to use the clutch pedal for the brake and
"reverse" it.

This is how I got split axis working on my LWFF too - doesn't make a whole
lot of sense.  The only problem I've got now is the reversed left turn
resistance - my fps are unchanged.  My friend who uses a MS sidewinder
joystick can't get the game to recognize the throttle control...
