Cool!  Thanks for the info and the review!

Oh, and if you like the pivoting head, type "head" while taking an external
view!  What was Ubisoft thinking when they left that feature out of F1RS?  :)

+AD4-freight training by me. MS/TRI are asking for more input to do the next
+AD4-patch and CPR2. The track editor is almost done too I hear. I still say

The next patch is dependent on people's feedback. If you want to see a
change to CPR go to http://cart.gamestats.com and fill the feedback form
out. If you do not provide feedback the CART team will not be able to
address your concerns.

Thanks

Hi,
If your running the STB Velocity run dont walk and download the new 132
drivers from their site. I posted earlier about them and since then have
installed them. All I can say is wow nice! Man the colors are so much
better things like the cars in CPR are crisper outlined and trackside
objects like the Pennzoil signs for instance very nice. Also the flashing
is all gone so running in hardware acceleration mode is great. I am leaving
all details on and getting 30+ fps at most tracks. I still turn off hill at
Laguna as thats the only track that seems to draw the hills as you see them
approaching. Its a pity that Laguna was the track used for the Demo. All
the other tracks dont seem to suffer that draw ahead problem.BTW since I
was so entranced with the new look I used instant replay quite a bit and
besides the 7 or 8 camera views I never before took notice of the ability
to use the insert & delete keys to spin the cars outside view points. As
well as the equal and minus signs to zoom in & out. While doing the outside
front views I noticed something I had not seen before the drivers head
turns to look ahead thru the turns ;-) I recently saw someone post about
the AI and while not the best AI in sim world try the Pro race settings. I
have found them very competitive on the road courses. The only place where
I noticed some mayhem was in the first turn after the flying start. But
aside from that I tested them at Portland by going extra slow down the
straight in front of the pits and never got hit from behind. When watching
the instant replay I was surprised to see them waiting for an opening then
freight training by me. MS/TRI are asking for more input to do the next
patch and CPR2. The track editor is almost done too I hear. I still say
this sim ROCKS! Cya, Mike
