Are there many people using the Beta patch for N3 multiplayer racing on
Won.net? I am considering whether I should install this patch. Are there any
recommendations?

as far as i know ya must have it to run on WON for internet play. No way
around not installing it.

I have been racing on the WON network with multiplayer N3 right out of the
box.

There are TONS of people using it. Probably more than are not using
it. I recommend you use it.
