Hmmm,

I seem to be getting qualities of around 100% to the better servers. Granted
some are as low as 20% but those aren't what I'd regard as "real" servers.

I hope I got your attention  :-)

I have been playing N3 online for ages now..  and it was been pretty good.
but the latest 1106 patch is dreadful.

I can only EVER get 25% quality no matter what conenction I use, server I
use....

it is crap...  It isn't my connection, I have ruled that out (I'm a minor
expert on connections)....

GPL rocks..  666 lat, 997 qual,.  great racing

N3 just doesn't work well with    .11 - .15 lat and 0.25 quality

that is 75% packet loss!!!!

I hope 1107 fixes this..

That's strange. I am the host for a Winter League that just finished
and with 1106 we were able to race 22 cars via cable modem warp free.
Best patch yet as far as connectivity goes for us.

  Papyrus picked an unfortunate time for beta testing 1106.  The denial
of service attacks have been playing havoc with routers and large users
and many portions of the backbone have been re-routed which is causing
massive pileups of data.  I can't say what exactly is causing your
problems, but also remember, the 1106 has taken the beta test off the
test servers and put them back on the won.net servers.  You might want
to start there, tracerouting and pinging etc.  goodluck
