   Anyone else seeing this problem?

   After installing the latest beta patch, trying to load a race, that
was saved before the patch, causes the game to crash back to the Windows
desktop.

  it is quite possible that the save game file is just enough different
to cause a previous version's save to fail.  Check the readme for exact
details, it might have it in there.
