I remember there being a Utility that would extract info from GPLs
replays and display the info in graph form.  I see one series is using
it (don't remember the series name) to show each drivers position per
lap. I would assume that there is more information available in the
utility.

I took a look around some of the GPL sites but haven't found it.
Anyone have an idea of what I'm talking about? and if so, where I might
grab this Utility?

Mike,

I beilive you are referring to a little neat program made by Sampo Peltonen
over in Finland..

IIRC, the program can be found on the Finish GPL Championship's pages (or at
one of the team pages) try http://fgplc.figc.net/

Btw, I also beilive you'll need and **old** version of GPLdump aswell...

Ed is probably right, Mike is referring to Sampo's graph utility. AFAIK it
uses the DOS version of GPLDump to extract lap times to a text file and then
read the text file to draw the graph.

The program is NOT available anywhere, except maybe from Sampo himself. You
can find Sampo's email address from FGPLC Roster page. Examples are
available on race report pages accessible from the main page or schedule
page.

This looks like what I'm after, but not one hundred percent sure.
Being a graph, yes, but what does this graph show?  It looks like it
could be just each drivers lap times per lap.  Or it shows the
combination of lap times and position.  The specific graph I'm after
would or did show each drivers position for each lap.  That could be the
site that I seen the graph I was talking about(?)  maybe the graph I
seen (if it is the right site) is an old version of the application(?)

The graph shows everyone's position lap after lap. So the graph itself is an
accumulation(?) of everyone's laptimes, compared to others. Every horizontal
line represents 10 secs. See an example:
http://phlegma.figc.net/fgplc2_F1_kya.gif. The graph doesn't exactly show
laptimes, but positions and gaps ...
