Nascar 4 and Momo problem

by T.Galvi » Sat, 20 Oct 2001 20:21:11

Hi all,
Just installed a Momo wheel, GPL works fine however with Nascar 4 as soon
as the game menu appears one of the lights on the wheel goes off and it
jumps to the controller setup with no calibration options. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
Todd.

Make sure it is calibrated properly in Windoze, I assume you have. Also make
sure you are using the Direct Input driver in the "Controller" setup portion
of N4 (this is a USB wheel right?) Aside from that I might suggest that it
is the only controller connected, N4 seems not to like multiple controllers
in the Windows controller app, some folks have luck with mutiple controllers
so long as the wheel is ID#1, dunno.

What OS are you using?

I can't reproduce your problem, sorry, but I have a question: is your wheel
smooth in GPL or do you get small frequent spikes like in the "wooden
bridge" effect from the momo test page? I would very much like to see those
spikes go away....

Thank you for your help, It was the direct input driver.
