Surpisingly, I didn't have to do anything special to get F12001 to work with
my 4-axis TSW. It would never work in 4-axis mode in F12000 or CS.

Works for me on WIN98SE .

Go to Control Panel - *** Options - Controllers:

Make sure your TSW2 is set up as a Custom Game Controller as described in
your manual.
Remove other controllers you may have - keep the TSW2 on Controller ID 1.
I've had trouble assigning axes in other games when I leave other
controllers on ID2 and ID3.

Go to F1 2001 - Options - Controls:

Assign your axes and buttons.

While the track is loading (the red bar filling in from left to right): keep
your brake pedal depressed.

Hope this helps.

f1 2001 is f##**d. I have a TSW GT. No one should have to go to these
lengths to get a  high end controller to work. I blame it on EA. Poorly done
IMO.

I agree, I've wasted way too much time trying to configure this game with
the right video drivers and get it running in split axis.Actually had it
running ok in combined with WIN me,then upraded to XP and back to square one
as far as video goes.Oh well, I guess all we can do is wait for the patch
and hope it gets looked after.

I didn't have any problems getting F12001 to work with my TSW2.  I was
pleasantly surprised.  When I started the game, I held down both pedals.  In
the config screen, it found every control I wanted to use.  I don't know if
holding the pedals was needed, but it was a trick I used in F12k and SBK2001...
But, I'm also using 98se.   Maybe it's just an XP issue - I don't think you can
blame EA for that...

I have it first hand from Dave Jr. himself that he could not
get his TSW to work with F1 2001. If your TSW features the
"wiggle" during calibration (the jumping up and down on the non
existant axis), then your TSW will probably not work in split
axis mode. (Win98)

I don't know about XP because I wouldn't even touch it with a ten
foot pole.

Cheers,

Uwe

My TSW2Mod works in F1 2001. I had to map the clutch pedal to brake pedal
though. I think I'll try the trick that Eldred posted about pushing the
pedals in when I start the game. Maybe I can get the brake pedal to work and
the clutch pedal too.  Right now the brake is the clutch and the brake pedal
doesn't work.

"Non existent axis"?  Which calibration screen, Win98 or F12001?  How did you
get an 'extra' axis?

Me neither.
