Momo shifter paddle problem

Momo shifter paddle problem

Hi guys;

Just bought a Momo wheel and it works great - except for a minor annoyance.

The right shifter paddle doesn't seem to "click" back into it's proper
place after a shift up - I've got to push it forward to be able to get the
next gear.

Anyone else have this problem and offer me a walkthru as to how to fix?

Else - should I box it back up and take it back?

Regards,

"Willard VanderPloeg"

I'd take it back.  If it is brand new it should be perfect. You shouldn't
have to fix problems yourself on expensive hardware purchases.

Hi,

Can anyone point me to an online site selling the Momo?

Thanks,

Gene

In the US I bought mine here a few months ago:

http://www.emscomputing.com/cgi-bin/ems.storefront/3cb65e24003770a227...
20e06ac/Offer/AddProduct/442833/

Selling for $143+$12 shipping.  Ordered it via ground shipping and received
it overnight (nice surprise, the warehouse was in the next state).

I just bought one from ems as well. Great service and a great wheel. Now I
just have to relearn how to drive Nascar2002.

Thanks Alvin;

I'll keep this solution in mind - but I boxed it back up last night and
will return it for a new one.

A $300 cdn wheel should not have problems I have to fix with silicone.

Regards,

Willard.

That is no doubt! I couldn't belive the differance in the MOMO, and I was
replacing the good LWFF wheel with it.

Yes i tis. But it does seem to be easier to get good laps. Tried Texas for
the first time yesterday, and was running around 30.3 laps after 15 laps.
Have no idea if that is a good time or not, was just practicing. But have
not raced that track much at all, so was pretty happy. And then wanted to
break 30, so I pushed it a bit into 3 and was backwards.
