TSW Paddle Shifter Opinions

TSW Paddle Shifter Opinions

Because I am married to perhaps the most wonderful woman in the world, I
have a TSW sitting in Iowa with my name on it waiting to be shipped. The
only hold-up is for me to determine what, if any, options I would like
on it.

I am giving serious consideration to the basic paddle shifter add-on
option and would like some opinions on it compared to on-wheel buttons,
etc. For Nascar ovals, I could take them or leave them. The regular
shifter will do. But, for ICR2 and (potentially) CPR, I believe they
would be an asset on road courses.

What do you think, TSW owners? Should I fork over the extra cash for the
paddle shifters? Your opinions are appreciated.

Happy Holidays,

I have had my TSW for about a month now.  I highly recommend the paddle
shifters.  They allow extremely quick shifting, especially on road courses.
I have found myself using the paddle shifters even when I did not plan to
(close calls with little time to react).  Hope this helps.

I heartily recommend the paddles, and in fact go for the "larger"
paddles.  For no other reason than the ability to keep both hands
on the wheel at all times.  I *do* try to avoid using the paddles
when racing cars that don't have them, but in most cases I use
them anyway... :)

Defenatly go with the paddles, while I never use mine for N2, they  are very
helpful  with other games such as CART.  Good job choosing a TSW, you won't
regret it.  When you're reading on newsgroups, about other peoples wheels going
bad, your TSW will still be working flawlessly.  Gee can you tell I really like
mine???

 Jim,

Yes, but get theRich K. "t" paddles, they work better when you
have the wheel cranked over!
