Hey guys!

I have a STB Velocity 4400 and I want to run some mode of 3D. When I install
and select a video driver it only gives 3dfx. I tried this
                    one just hoping it might work and said I needed
glide2x.dll. Yes, I know TNT doesnt have glide support but it was a prayer.
Well,
                    thats no good a software mode blows. Anyway to get
OpenGL or D3D with  a TNT card in Nascar Racing 1999 Ed? Thanks!

Nope.  It only has 3dfx and Rendition native support.

Papyrus seems to think that NR1999 edition is too old (3 months) and does
not feel the need to add anymore to it. (just little things like multiplayer
and more 3D support)

My TNT runs the DOS version just fine.

Just to clarify I meant that I run the DOS exe in a Win98 DOS box, as
I have no reason to reboot my machine in real-mode DOS.  As for how it
works, it just does.  I didn't do anything other than run soundset and
then the nr1999.exe.

I think he is in normal 2D mode, not in the 3D mode that we all want to
have.


1. Will GPL works with TNT video cards?

2. What is the ultimate (or at least) really good video card for NR99

3. Will the Tnt cards run GPL?

4. GPL on Viper 550 TNT card

5. Canopis TNT vid card w/GPL and GP2

6. NFSIII and Viper 550 TNT Card

7. MGPRS2 with STB nVIDIA TNT video card

8. n2/n99 and STB TNT card?

9. F1RS&TNT 3D AGP card
