Now I am getting really pissed of with this whole ***y video card saga.

I replaced my V330 and Diamond Monster Voodoo1 cards with a Diamond V550 TNT
card, all was great with NFSIII, very fast, had the dashboards working and
all, now I have had to re-install Win-98 and NFSIII will not work using the
hardware setting for DirectX, I can only get software which is hopeless. If
I try to use the Direct-3D device I get a message that it is not supported
and then when I run NFSIII after the intor I get a complete system lockup. I
have re-installed DirectX, tested all of the configs and there are no
obvious problems that I can detect.

Has anyone else had any problems like this and if so, any ideas on how to
fix it.

I have an AMDK6-2 300 CPU and 64 Mbyte Sdram.
