ICR2 - Arcade Damage

Hi,

I've gotten to a point where I've just turned on arcade damage for a
championship season.  I find that it seems to reset itself back to
"none" for no apparent reason.  Is there any way of locking that
information in somewhere like making a file read-only.  This resetting
the damage to none happens often and randomly - almost every 2nd or 3rd
race.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks...
        ...Ron

It's there...I noticed it a couple years ago (gadzooks!) and thought I
was imagining things...Earlier this year someon else pointed it out in
another ng, and the floodgates opened about others noticing it too.

I can't remember ever seeing it in the 3D version, only the normal DOS
one, but I could be mistaken.

Cheers!

Marc

I've done some experimenting over the weekend and I've found that if you
incur damage during any of the practices and you go to the garage, the
damage is reset to none whereas if you go to the pits and let your crew
repair it, the damage stays on.  This has been consistent so far.

Really? I haven't had that problem. I'll check into that.  Can I get the
3d-version   if I have ICR2 for  win/dos/mac
I use the dos version

You can get it if you're running Win95.  I think you may need MMX
capability and DirectX controls as well.
