I don't see anywhere to enter an IP address for multiplayer in GPL.
There's a pseudo-combobox with a downward pointing arrow -- connect
using, I think was the label -- that doesn't do anything. Clicking the
arrow doesn't display a list of choices as I would expect.

Also, the ramp angle choice list box in the setup screen seems to be
broken. There's a scroll bar that doesn't scroll. Is it supposed to? I
can see the 30/45 and 30/30 choices, but nothing below that.

Anyone else having these problems? Are they problems?

Thanks.

Michael.

Right underneath the the "pseudo-combobox with a downward pointing arrow"
there is a rectangular box. Type in the IP address here and then click the
"add" button to the right underneath address book.

I'm not sure about the ramp angle.

Ramp angle.. just click on the box and "pull" downwards.. the box will
scroll down as you "pull" (or "push")

Just one other quick note...

PASSWORDS .. I've had a few people say "oh, there's a password feature?"
.. yep.. for multiplayer (online) games, if you don't want the whole world
playing when you're on VROC or whatever, the host can select a password, and
the players joining must type in the correct password in order to be able to
connect to the game.

The password BOX is AT THE TOP OF THE SCREEN.. above the words "Address
Book"..
.. amazing, but I've had 3 or 4 people ask me.. so there you go - now
everyone knows!

oh.. yeah.. if you're hosting a race.. make use of "The Grandstand" Chat
Room,
and Message Book for posting Online Race info.. (on my page)

Read the Readme.txt. You have to create a core.ini and add a line to
it for internet play. Why they didn't have it install by default I
don't know.

Better yet: go to the News at http://members.xoom.com/TeamCanAm/ and,
well, read.
