MonacoGP demo : crashes with STB velocity128

I have win95 osr2.1, on a PII-266, with a STB velocity128 (riva128
chipset).

Installed dx6, then the mgp demo. It statrt fine, i select a race, i
get the view above the race track with some sounds, but then the
machine totally locks up.

Any hints ?
