I am thinking about getting a Nvida TNT2 card and wonder if the open GL
patch would work for it?
I have a Diamond monster II but the TNT2 card looks really good with 32megs
and 32bit rendering.
Any comments appreciated... thanks

The TNT2 isn't even released yet, so I doubt if *anybody* here would
*know* how it's going to work with any existing software or drivers.

I have a TNT and until I changed from an LX to an HX motherboard, the
OpenGL patch would not work at all.

I'm going to buy a TNT2 when it comes out, but I'm gonna keep my Voodoo
as well until I feel comfortable with the TNT2/OpenGL combo.  I think
Papy/nVidia are going to have to fix some things in the OpenGL driver
before it's 100% anyway.

It *should* work, though I wouldn't expect much performance gain
unless nVidia optimized their drivers.

My statement only referred to GPL, and not to TNT2's overall
performance (though the original poster didn't directly mention GPL,
but he mentioned the Open GL-patch).
