Excuse me. This question must be two stoopit, but who has a benefit from
this patch? VooDoo 1 users? VooDoo 2? Grooby? Fuzzy Bear?

Voodoo1 and Voodoo2 users will reap the -least- benefit from this patch.
The game supports GLide natively, and 3DFX's OpenGL ICD for those cards
is nowhere near supporting all the features of OpenGL 1.2

The people that will benefit from it are the people who own 2nd or 3rd
generation 3D hardware that isn't running a Voodoo chip.

Matrox G200s (when the OpenGL ICD comes out..supposedly by the end of
this month)
RivaTNTs
Savage3Ds
Permedia 2s or 3s
GLiNTs
or ATI RagePros will all benefit from this patch. It means that owners of
those cards can now play GPL in hardware accelerated mode.
