Okay, I know I'm a bit behind the times. I just bought my 9yr old twin
boys NASCAR 2000 for Windows and I've discovered I like it myself! I'm
tired of hauling the CD all over the house. Anyone know where I can
get a no-cd patch? All the websites I've found have moved on to newer
versions.

If a patch is not available, anyone know how I can burn a copy of the
cd that will actually work?

Never heard of Nascar 2000?  Papyrus had N4, then they went to N2002 season...which product do you
mean?

More than likely Nascar 2000, put out by EA Sports,
sorry cant help other than maybee checking gamecopyworld,
I have a bought version of the game only cause it came w 3
other games in Racing Mania 2

Could it be Nascar Road Racing 2000...if I remember right that was in the
box...if your smart you will load up Sports Car GT that is in there for
you...throw the rest away...SCGT is the only good game in the box...

Nope although i have Sports Car GT it came w my wheel, logitech
formula force gp, the games in the box with it was NFS porche
(the reason I bought it) sbk2001, another wicked game, and NFS 3
and Nascar 2000, that is all the disc say's not road racing

Thanks for the spoon feed. Actually, I need a bottle. The download
unzipped three files. I don't know what to do with them!

Any help would be appreciated.

And, yes, it's the EASports NASCAR 2000. I like it, but I'm the wrong
guy to ask. I've never played with these things before.

.ace files are files compressed/packed using Winace
(http://www.winace.com/), unpack it and drop whatever is in there,
probably one single .exe file, into your main Nascar 2000
directory....probably, unless there's a readme file telling you
otherwise

  The no cd is inside the n2kv101.ace file.  Use winace to unzip it.  the
Myth.nfo and file_id.diz are just identifiers for the creators and archiver.
Not needed for the no_cd.

You can use winace if you want personally I would use Winrar,
it's simpler and does all types of zipped files whether it is ace rar
or zip: get it here http://www.rarlab.com/
