I have heard rumours that F1 2000 No-CD patch increases FPS(us version, but
not in UK version).
Anybody tested is this true?

I've found the same thing... about 3-4 fps for me. Also the game boots up
quicker and doesn't go thru that "It's in the Game!"/intro movie garbage. Glad
I patched it.

Thats something I wanted to ask.....

EA usually have some long lame-assed intro.... all you get now is that bid E
and F12000 logo's, is that right or is it just me?

Do i must install movie files too when i apply no CD Exe.

I've installed the full game and replaced the *.exe. After that I
deleted all files in the ANIM-Directory and the BMP-Files in the
Options-Directory.

The game starts now faster without any screens or movies.

At gamecopyworld.. That said, it started fine, skipped the intros, ran
wihtout a CD, then froze completely. I took it out...

Strange, it runs for me, but still runs the damn intros. Going to try
and delete them tonite. I haven't had a problem with the no cd patch
yet, but I don't think it did anything for my frame rate.
