TOCA DEMO and F1RS

Hello,

Ik have a full install of F1RS on my PC, and it works just fine (D3D with
Matrox Mystique).
I downloaded TOCA demo and installed it. It worked ok and it looked cute,
but afterwards I couldnt play F1RS anymore because some video driver had
been corrupted or replaced by TOCA. Does anyone else have this problem, and
does it also occur with the full version of TOCA? In that case I will NOT
buy it...

Did you have DirectX 5.0 on your machine before installing TOCA ? If not,
maybe the DX5 install screwed up your driver (in which case blame MS not
Codemasters !). Go check with your video card manufacturer to see if
there's a newer driver available and if so, maybe that will allow TOCA
and F1RS to co-exist.

Good luck, Nick

Yep, seems it corrupts the Indeo installation for some reason. You need
to find the INDEO subdirectory on your F1RS cd and run the executable
therein, to re-install INDEO.....

I found another work around - I just run F1RS from f1voo.exe instead of
UBISETUP.exe. Whilst ubisetup complains and won't let me start due to
corruption of indeo, f1voo starts no problem.
