As Ole Benny Parsons would say: WOW!
I figured out the Univesa SVGA stuff and ran the nascar -h
and WOW! what a difference in the graphics But
(OK, I lied about the that being the last question)
Now that it looks SOooo good, I noticed a more choppy (is this slower?)
framerate, Also, my handling and driving ability are way down.
Am I driving worse because of the slower framerate or is the program
running worse cause of the added SVGA graphic detail or both?
My car is swerving worse than Ernie Irvan. Is this an unavoidable trade
off? I have over 9,400 kb of free memory when it says I need 7,367.
I'm using a 486 DX with 12 ram. Would using the bootable floppy disk help?
It looks so good, but what good is it if I can't drive well? I'm already
running the minimum graphics. Please any explanation, suggestions would be
most helpful. ( Buying more ram is not an immediate option)
By the time I can afford a pentium and all that neat stuff most of you
have, Papy will be up to NASCAR 5. Am I doing something wrong? Perhaps the
121 patch doesn't work in the NASCAR -h mode? Thanks for any help.

: Last question of the night, promise, ;-)
: I'm having trouble getting the UNIVESA driver provided with N1 to work.
: Is there a site I can download the VESA driver that I need and don't have
: to kick my graphics into shape? I really want to be able to see the better
: effects since my 486 DX does have SVGA capability. I have no idea what
: kind of graphics card I have, but what ever it is (if I have one) it came
: with my packard ugh bell. Anybody been through this??
