SCGT - Turbo Sounds?

I was watching the Trans-Am race at Lime Rock on TV and I really liked the
sound of one of the in-car views -- Paul Gentilozzi I think. It was a
high-pitched "whirring" sound that I think was the turbo sound. Am I right
about that? If so, are there any such sounds for SCGT?

That is GEARBOX "whine" you get with Straight cut g/boxes.....

All race cars have it  :-)

Uh, no... Trans-Am cars don't have any turbo. If you want to have info
regarding those cars, check out the July edition of "Racer" magazine. In
the "Focus" section, they analize the anatomy of Gentilozzi's car. But I
do agree with you: those cars sound amazing! I went to Trois-Rivires
last year and the cars produce a deep rumble sound. Hmmm... It could
make a nice sim.

The high pitch sound is gear whine. I agree someone needs to make a
patch with more realistic gear noise.
