Mapping MOMO Buttons in VROC

Using the Logitech Wingman Profiler, I've mapped the lower right hand
button on my Logi MOMO Wheel to activate Shift-R in both my GPL profile
and in my VROC prolfile.  This works fine in GPL, but the button doesn't
do anything when in VROC.  In both offlline GP and in VROC, all the
other buttons that I've mapped through GPL (look left and right, etc)
work fine.

Thinking that I don't need to have that button mapped in both VROC and
GPL, I deleted it from VROC, but it still doesn't work while online.
Can anyone explain what I might be doing wrong?

I'm running Win98SE and Profiler Version 4.20.167.

Thanks!
Bert

wrote something like this:

You don't need to have the buttons mapped for VROC separately. the
Wingman software "sees" the GPL running although it is started via
another program, so map the buttons for GPL only.

Are you sure that shift-r has been allowed on the servers you've been
running?

I tried not mapping the button in the VROC profile (only in the GPL
profile), but it still doesn't function when online.  8-(    Shift-R is
definitely allowed on the server, as I'm trying to get this to work in my
League races, and my league does allow Shift-R.

Thanks.

You've got to put it in a profile for "GPLLaunch.exe", not "WinVROC.exe".

When I try creating a profile pointing to the executable file "GPLLaunch.exe",
I get the following message:

"A profile for this executable already exists in the database.  Choose another
executable."

I have checked and re-checked 3 times.  None of the games in my Profiler list
have this as their executable.  Another thing that's strange is that I cannot
delete any game profiles.  They seem to disappear from the list of profiles,
but come right back when I close and re-open the Profiler.

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks!

Hmm, I haven't heard of this problem.  Here's what *I* would do:

1. Uninstall Logitech Profiler.
2. Delete the Logitech Wingman directory if the uninstall leaves it:
c:\program files\logitech\wingman software
3. Go into Registry (regedit.exe) and delete the Logitch Profiler tree if
the uninstaller leaves it:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Logitech\WingMan Software
4. Install the latest version of the Profiler from the website and start
fresh.

Good luck!
